As an Advocate (INFJ-A), listening is my greatest strength. Listening allows me to find synergies between individuals, teams, and the organization so that collectively we achieve more, identify problems sooner, and deliver the right value.  I genuinely want all of us to be successful (see my weakness).
This year, our CFO tasked engineering with reducing vendor cost by 20%.  The first cuts did not go well (see prioritization). At the same time, my team leaders were frustrated with legacy infrastructure that dragged them down. Synergy found. However, with so many things to pick from, how do you choose? I created a framework (scale triangle) to identify where our biggest impacts were (so that I could then coordinate talent to accomplish it).
In only six months, we were 2.4X our goal.  Importantly, it wasn't at the cost of slowing the company down or putting it at a bigger risk. Accomplishing our goal, by focusing on the greatest value.
